Attorney Brian Gallagher has practiced law in Broome and Tioga Counties since 1999. Prior to that he worked as an attorney on Nantucket Island in Massachusetts. He has been Court Arbitrator with the Attorney/ Client Fee Dispute Resolution Program in the N.Y. Sixth Judicial District. He has also served as Court-appointed Referee on many foreclosure actions.
Brian Gallagher is a fifth-generation native of Broome County. He grew up in the Town of Maine and graduated from Seton Catholic Central High School. He attended college in Boston for two years then did undergraduate and graduate studies in Italy for five years. He spent seven years in the Washington D.C. area, working and attending law school. He has been active for many years in several Binghamton area social organizations and not-for-profits.
Brian and his wife Theresa are proud parents of two grown sons, Joseph and Samuel. Brian has been an active out-of-doors person his entire life: gardening, hiking, fishing, sailboat racing, and whitewater kayaking. He also enjoys history, foreign languages, and classical music. For a time he sang with the Maennerchor at the Binghamton German Club.
